ABOUT

Frieda studied fine art at Goldsmiths College where she developed a love of minimalism and the use of language as a figurative entity.  In the early nineties she decided that dance music was a more egalitarian way of spreading art and became a DJ with the Flame Cru, playing jump-up raga-flavoured Jungle.

Following the birth of her daughter she became interested in jewellery as both site-specific and by its nature, public art and was fortunate to be accepted onto the degree course at Central Saint Martins.

She continues to work with text and language combining traditional techniques with computer aided design to create chic, minimalist pieces.
